about

If I Believe is a song about dealing with your worst enemy: your mind. This is a video of my community opening up, being vulnerable and taking a stand. They were kind enough to take time out of their day, film these clips, and make this video possible. We want people who are watching this to know that they are not alone. Whatever you are going through will get better in time. You are strong, you are loved and you are enough!

lyrics

It's so hard to breathe when your doubts are just drowning you out
Can you believe in yourself when you just don't know how
I just give it to the Lord and then I pray
I've been losing everyday

There's a monster under my bed
And it wants me to believe
That I'm weak and incomplete and not enough for
Anyone or everybody
I've been fighting for so long
But I get stronger everyday and soon there will be
No monster underneath me

Overthinking the ways that my life can go right or wrong
There are moments I feel like I'm flying and then I just fall
Can't you see my silent cries
Underneath this forced out smile
Please tell me why

There's a monster under my bed
And it wants me to believe
That I'm weak and incomplete and not enough for
Anyone or everybody
I've been fighting for so long
But I get stronger everyday and soon there will be
No monster underneath me

I feel abandoned in this land of uncertainty
But I will keep fighting 'cause this monster does not define me

There's a monster under my bed
But one day I know I'll see
That I'm strong and I am loved and I'm enough
I am enough
I've been fighting for so long
But I get stronger everyday and soon there will be
No monster underneath me
